REDUCED MAINTENANCE & COST
A standard feature of all Flowtrend air-actuated valves is minimal maintenance and Repairable Actuators.
The Flowtrend 700-R Series goes even further: The actuator stem and piston assembly are supported internally by PTFE split bushings which support the stem and reduces wear on the piston seal. The actuators have a “caged” spring which allows for maintenance without the use of a press. The springs have a special coating to prevent corrosion. The cylinder wall has been improved to a 3mm thickness to insure that the glide path of the cylinder is not affected by harsh exterior treatment.

Flowtrend Replacement for Tri-Clover® 700 Series Valve Non-Repairable Actuators Series
APPLICATION
This air operated valve actuator is intended for use with all Flowtrend® 700-R Series and Tri- Clover® 700 Series Valves. Its unique design offers a repairable option to the Tri-Clover® non- repairable actuator. Its heavy duty construction and precision components ensure positive alignment under severe conditions.
WORKING PRINCIPAL
The actuator is remotely controlled by means of compressed air. The actuator is completely repairable ensuring an unlimited lifetime and eliminating the need for costly replacement actuators after only a few years of use.
STANDARD DESIGN
Rugged and long-lasting stem bushings, coupled with PTFE split bearings ensure positive alignment and minimal friction during actuation. These features ensure even and
limited wear of the piston seal. This eliminates any possible metal-to-metal galling while maintaining positive alignment. All exterior surfaces are 32Ra finish.
FUNCTIONS
- Normally Open (NO) Type 10 = Pneumatic downward movement, spring return
- Normally Closed (NC) Type 20 = Pneumatic upward movement, spring return
- Air-to-Air (A/A) Type30 = Pneumatic downward and upward movement
